The Centre for Pastoralism (CfP) works across India on collaborative programs to strengthen pastoralist livelihoods, secure recognition for indigenous livestock breeds, and protect access to grazing landscapes. Its work spans research, advocacy, and on-ground partnerships with herding communities.
The Snow Leopard Line is one expression of this broader vision. By placing Gharia wool and pastoral craft in a curated, visible space, the line helps bring pastoralism into public imagination, not as a relic of the past, but as a living practice central to biodiversity and climate-resilient landscapes.
