The journey begins in high pastures, with shepherds tending mixed herds that now increasingly include the Gharia. From shearing to sorting, each step keeps the wool close to its origin. The fleece is gently washed and carded, then spun into yarn and woven into cloth.
Every stage is handled within the region, by people whose lives are directly linked to the land and its animals. The final fabric holds this continuity as a material record of movement across altitude, season, and hand.
